Project Scope: SAP FICO/HR implementation at corporate headquarters of ENEC

Work Profile:

 

This is an end to end implementation of SAP FICO and HCM modules in ENEC headquarters. The work involves:

 

ü  As an SAP FICO functional consultant:

 

·          Understanding the ENEC business processes

·          Blueprinting and fit gap analysis

·          Development of the functional specification documents for WRICEF objects

·          Coordination with the ABAP consultants for developing the WRICEF objects and testing the same

·          Preparing the testing scripts for Integration testing and loading them in HPQC

The project involves implementation of SAP in the entire Mediq business globally. This is done in three waves starting with Mediq Corporate offices in Netherlands and moving to other European and North American markets.   

Work Profile:

·          Analyzing the reporting requirements (Profitability Waterfall) in Mediq corporate.

·          Developing and suggesting the COPA reporting model to be used in Mediq.

Project: Sysco Corporate AP SAP Implementation.

Project Scope: Blueprinting.

Work Profile:

 

The client is the largest food processing and distribution company in North America.

 

The project involves implementation of SAP Accounts Payable in the corporate offices of the company. The Corporate pays invoices for all purchases made by operating companies. Vendors send the invoices through EDI and the same is invoiced and paid in corporate offices. Presently, the whole process is processes using a host of Legacy applications. The aim is to bring the whole process into SAP.  

Work Profile:

·          Conducting the As Is process study and reporting of the same to the client.

·          Preparation of fit gap analysis on the main process points in legacy vis a vis SAP.

·          Suggesting SAP solution to business processes covered by the implementation.

·          Actively engaged in deciding the banking interfaces to be used for payment to vendors.

·          Setting up a prototype in SAP to demonstrate to the client the “to be” scenario in SAP.

·          The above prototype consisted of business process from receiving of EDI invoices to payment made to vendors for the invoices.

·          Preparation of to be documentation for the above processes.

·          Writing functional specification documents for developments to be done in the project.

 

 

 

Project: Air Products and Chemicals Global Support and Implementation

Project Scope: Global Support, Roll Out and FSCM implementation

Company: IBM India Pvt Ltd.

Client: Air Products and Chemicals.

Duration: January 2012 till September 2014

 

Work Profile:

 

This project involves Global support of Air Products and Chemicals. The support is given on an onsite-offshore model and involves Asia Pacific, Europe and America geography. I was involved as the offshore team lead, leading a team of 7 consultants. Modules involved are:

 

·          SAP FI- GL, AR,AP, Bank Accounting (including EBS), AA,

·          SAP CO-CCA, IO,PCA,PC with ML, PA

·          FSCM- IHC, TRM, DM.

·          Extensively used testing tools like HPQC.

·          Scheduling tools like UC4.

 

Implementation of FSCM Dispute Management: During this tenure I was also involved in implementation of dispute management for this client in their US and European Business as an offshore Lead for the process.

 

Implementation of TRM: Implementation of SAP TRM solution for the Indian business unit of Air Products. This involved:

·          Blueprinting of the solution

·          Developing a prototype to show the same to the business

·          Configuration of the system for SAP TRM

·          Unit and Integration testing of the solution

·          Signing off of UAT by the users.

·          User training

·          Go live and support.

 

Project: Nordea Bank Support and Roll Out.

Project Scope: Finance Transformation.

Duration: August 2011 till December 2011.

 

Work Profile:

 

This project involves blueprinting and fit-gap analysis of Nordea Bank from onsite/offshore. Leading the offshore team for the same.

 

·          Doing a study of the global Chart of Accounts of the bank.

·          Recommending changes to the global Chart of Accounts.

·          Discussing with the management and finalizing the Chart of Accounts for the Swedish entities.

·          Doing an analysis of the inter branch transactions of the bank.

·          Discussion with the Qiagen Germany SAP and process experts to decide on the initial strategy for roll out.

·          Doing the blueprinting for the Indian business by conducting workshops with business users from India, Asia Pacific and Qiagen Germany SAP/ Business process team.

·          Realisation and initial testing done in Qiagen headquarters in Germany.

·          UAT in India.

·          User training and documentation.

·          Date upload, cut over activity.

·          Go live and subsequent support (Hypercare).

 

 

Project: SAP Implementation of Amerisource Bergen Corporation.

Project Scope: Implementation

Client: Amerisource Bergen Corporation.

Duration: March 2010 till August 2010.

 

Work Profile:

 

This project involves SAP implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 in the American instance of Amerisource Bergen. This project is being executed from USA with. I was part of the FI – Revenue Management team working from offshore. The work areas include:

 

·          Configuration.

·          Development of interfaces with other system.

·          Writing of Functional Specification for developments.

·          Testing and defect logging of Developments.

·          Coordination with onsite team consisting of IBM consultants onsite and Business process experts from the client.

Project: BAT Support Project for Zone 3.

Project: Finance Transformation Project for AC Nielsen Global.

Project Scope: Finance Transformation and process harmonization.

Work Profile:

 

This project involves the transformation of current SAP set up of The AC Nielsen Company (Globally). It has two parts, namely, Finance Transformation and SAP Upgrade from 4.6C Version to ECC 6.0. I was involved in the successful completion of Finance Transformation. This was done entirely from Onsite (New York, USA) and the work profile was:

§   Finalizing of the Legal Entity Structure of the Nielsen Company which actually involved setting up of the Company Codes to be used as per SAP.

§   Finalizing of the Profit Centre and Cost Centre structure of the company.

§   Finalizing of the Global chart of account of the client.
